Softball Game Preview: Spring Hill Bears vs. Gilmer Buckeyes

The Spring Hill Bears will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Gilmer Buckeyes at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Spring Hill is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 12-0 to Smackover on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Meanwhile, Gilmer fell victim to Carthage and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 9-0.
