The home team had won the previous three meetings between Stephenson and Tucker, and Tucker kept the tradition alive. The Jaguars fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Stephenson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-17, 15-8.

Stephenson's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Tucker, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
