Softball Recap: Hamilton Finds Home Field Redemption Against Plumas Charter

There's no place like home for Hamilton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Plumas Charter Warriors on Tuesday. The Braves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Hamilton got a big performance out of Jordyn Rodgers, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs Rodgers has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Boster, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

Hamilton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The win got Hamilton back to even at 6-6. As for Plumas Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-1 record this season.

Hamilton will venture away from home to square off against Los Molinos at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Braves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season. As for Plumas Charter, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-5 loss against Burney on the 4th.
