Baseball Recap: Sergeant Bluff-Luton Takes a Loss

Sergeant Bluff-Luton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Northwest Wolves.

Sergeant Bluff-Luton's loss dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Northwest, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will challenge Sioux City East at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Black Raiders will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northwest, they will take on Waukee at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolves 3.8, the Warriors 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
