Baseball Recap: Antioch Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Antioch barely beat Mt. Eden the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Monarchs on Saturday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Antioch moved to 10-7 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Mt. Eden, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antioch will head out to challenge Freedom at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Eden, they will venture away from home to square off against Arroyo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
