Soccer Recap: Stoney Creek Comes Up Short

Stoney Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Midland Chemics. While losing is never fun, Stoney Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 159th, while Midland are ranked first).

Stoney Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Midland, the win keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

Stoney Creek wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Plymouth on the 3rd. As for Midland, they will head out to square off against Grand Blanc at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
