Basketball Recap: Century's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Century came into Monday's game having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past the Atholton Raiders 41-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since December 16, 2023.

Century's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Atholton, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Century won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Winters Mill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atholton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Long Reach at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Atholton is facing Long Reach at the right time seeing as Long Reach is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
