Volleyball Recap: Racine Park Panthers vs. Port Washington Pirates

Racine Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Port Washington Pirates. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in September of 2019.

Estella Sorenson paced Racine Park's offense, picking up three kills. Sorenson got some help from Madison Gomez and her five assists. Gomez also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Arabella Steberl, racking up two apiece.

Racine Park's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Port Washington, they moved to 12-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Racine Park has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against South Milwaukee on the 20th. As for Port Washington, they will take on Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
