Soccer Recap: Kamiak Comes Up Short

Kamiak lost against Lake Stevens back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Kamiak can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Lake Stevens are ranked 13th).

Kamiak now has a losing record of 2-3-2. As for Lake Stevens, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kamiak will face off against rival Arlington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lake Stevens is set to square off against their familiar foe Glacier Peak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
