Football Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short

Westwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 34-13 to the Logan-Magnolia Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 14-13 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Logan-Magnolia, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Westwood is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Albert at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Logan-Magnolia will face off against rival West Monona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
