Basketball Recap: Clear Brook Takes a Loss

After flying high against Brazoswood last Friday, Clear Brook came back down to earth. The Clear Brook Wolverines fell to the Clear Springs Chargers 50-45. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Chargers are ranked 46th).

Clear Brook's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Clear Springs, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-3.

Clear Brook will venture away from home to challenge Dickinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clear Springs, they will welcome Clear Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clear Lake has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
