While Oconomowoc's victory against Slinger wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raccoons had just enough and edged out the Owls 8-6. The Raccoons haven't had any issues with the Owls recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Marek Bolson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Jackson Reno was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

The victory got Oconomowoc back to even at 1-1. As for Slinger, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.
