Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask El Campo). They blew past the Rice Consolidated Raiders 11-0 on Friday. Considering the Ricebirds have won 13 games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was El Campo's fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five matches. As for Rice Consolidated, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13-4 record this season.

El Campo didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Palacios on the 10th. Rice Consolidated does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
