Pershing is 6-1 against Central since November of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Pershing Doughboys will welcome the Central Trail Blazers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pershing has ten straight victories, Central has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Thursday, Pershing took their game with ease, bagging a 71-3 win over Northwestern. The Doughboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Central came up short against Communication Media Arts two weeks ago, falling 42-16.

Pershing's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.5 points per game. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Pershing against Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 59-29 win. Does Pershing have another victory up their sleeve, or will Central turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
