Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cushman). They took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging an 82-44 victory over the Colonial Christian Patriots. With that win, the Cougars brought their scoring average up to 51.2 points per game.

Cushman got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rex Feldman out in front who posted 20 points. Feldman continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jalen Kotalik was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Colonial Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Valino, who went 7 of 8 en route to 20 points and five rebounds. That was a full 45.5% of Colonial Christian's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aristides Espinosa, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards.

Cushman has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Colonial Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Cushman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 66-54 defeat against Sheridan Hills Christian on the 14th. As for Colonial Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-46 loss against Somerset College Prepartory Academy South on the 14th.
