Softball Recap: Baylor Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Baylor can now relate to. They fell just short of the Chattanooga Christian Chargers by a score of 8-6 on Wednesday. The Red Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 8-4.

Baylor's loss dropped their record down to 20-10-1. As for Chattanooga Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season.

Baylor wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-4 win against Lipscomb Academy on the 21st. As for Chattanooga Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against St. Benedict at Auburndale on the 22nd.
