Soccer Game Preview: Star Valley vs. Green River

The Star Valley Braves will challenge the Green River Wolves at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Thursday, Star Valley came up short against Rock Springs and fell 4-2.

Meanwhile, Green River got the win against Riverton on Saturday by a conclusive 4-1. With Green River ahead 3-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

They hit Riverton with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Braxton Doak (2), Dominick Littlefield, and Gavin Mares.

Green River has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two matchups. As for Star Valley, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Star Valley beat Green River by a goal in their previous matchup back in May of 2022, winning 2-1. Does Star Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Green River turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
