Volleyball Recap: Watseka Starts off Right with Win over Fisher + How To Watch

Watseka gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Fisher Bunnies 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since October 1, 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Watseka got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 16-25, 15-10.

Several Bunnies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brooklynn Kellems, who had three digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Raegan Kilman, who had six kills and three aces.

Coincidentally, Watseka and Fisher will both be playing Bishop McNamara the next time they take the court. The Bunnies will head out to face the Fightin' Irish at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
