Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bishop Miege walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Chanute Blue Comets on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Stags in their matchups with the Blue Comets: they've now won six in a row.

Bishop Miege easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-17.

Bishop Miege found their leader in sophomore Mayley Morrison, who had nine digs and five assists.

Bishop Miege's victory bumped their record up to 7-26. As for Chanute, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 35-2.

Bishop Miege has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fort Scott on the 25th. Chanute does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
