Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tre Embry and Jaivyon Dawson Lead Veterans to Victory + How To Watch

Veterans saw some tournament action on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Tattnall County Warriors as they made off with a 59-35 win.

Leading Veterans to victory were Jaivyon Dawson and Tre Embry. Dawson shot 58% from the field to rack up 18 points and five boards, while Embry posted ten points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jordan Bryant, who earned five points and four steals.

Veterans' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Tattnall County, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Veterans will be taking part in a tournament against Bryan County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tattnall County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Camden County at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
