Football Game Recap: Collins Academy/Manley vs. Urban Prep-West Campus

Urban Prep-West Campus fought the good fight in their overtime contest on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 20-26 to Collins Academy/Manley. The game was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but Urban Prep-West Campus were outplayed the rest of the way.

The loss dropped Urban Prep-West Campus' record to 3-5. The victory bumped Collins Academy/Manley's record up to 7-1.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Urban Prep-West Campus take on Von Steuben at 4:15 PM. Urban Prep-West Campus stagger into the matchup hobbled by three consecutive losses while Von Steuben skip in buoyed by four consecutive wins. Collins Academy/Manley will be staying on the road, facing off against Foreman. Foreman are limping into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
