Basketball Recap: Fayetteville Comes Up Short

Fayetteville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 49-17 loss at the hands of the Ranburne Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 431st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 132nd).

Fayetteville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Ranburne, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fayetteville will square off against Notasulga at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ranburne, they will challenge Vincent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
