Football Recap: AHSTW Comes Up Short

If AHSTW was feeling good fresh off their 54-13 takedown of Red Oak last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell 32-21 to the Riverside Bulldogs on Friday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

AHSTW now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Riverside, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. AHSTW is set to challenge their familiar foe Nodaway Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Riverside will take on rival Southwest Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
