Basketball Game Preview: Mount Desert Island Trojans vs. Old Town Coyotes

The Mount Desert Island Trojans will square off against the Old Town Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Wednesday, Mount Desert Island beat John Bapst Memorial 48-39.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Old Town). They breezed by Bucksport to the tune of 75-35 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Coyotes who have now won three matches in a row.

Old Town's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Mount Desert Island, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
