Basketball Game Preview: Crossings Christian Knights vs. Douglass Trojans

The Crossings Christian Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Douglass Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crossings Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Douglass likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Crossings Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Bishop McGuinness, taking the game 64-55. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 86th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Douglass had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 61-43 win over the Fire.

Douglass is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Crossings Christian, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
