Basketball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield lost against Green Mountain two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Springfield Cosmos took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Mountain Chieftains.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Green Mountain, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Springfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Arlington Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Springfield is facing Arlington Memorial at the right time seeing as Arlington Memorial is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Green Mountain, they will head out to square off against Woodstock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
