Basketball Recap: Quinton Takes a Loss

Quinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Sequoyah Indians 73-13. While losing is never fun, the Savages can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Indians are ranked 99th).

Quinton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Sequoyah, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

When Quinton and Sequoyah next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Quinton will face off against Broken Bow and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Sequoyah will try to stop Riverside Indian's 11-game winning streak when the meet at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
