Volleyball Recap: Bishop Union Comes Up Short

Bishop Union lost against Mammoth back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Broncos took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13.

EVIE CARTER paced Bishop Union's offense, picking up three kills. CARTER got some help from Laila Beall and her seven assists.

Bishop Union's loss dropped their record down to 12-9-1. As for Mammoth, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4-1 record this season.

Bishop Union will welcome Frazier Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mammoth, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lancaster on the 13th.
