Volleyball Recap: Plainfield South Takes a Loss

Plainfield South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Charles North North Stars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2016.

Plainfield South's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for St. Charles North, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season.

Plainfield South has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lincoln-Way Central on the 15th. As for St. Charles North, they will take on Glenbard West at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
