Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Prep Lions vs. Victory Baptist Warrior

Having just played yesterday, the Trinity Prep Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Victory Baptist Warrior at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

It was a proper cat-fight when Trinity Prep took on Peachtree Academy on Thursday. Trinity Prep came out on top against Peachtree Academy by a score of 60-53.

Meanwhile, Victory Baptist waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took down the Stallions 68-52. The Warrior pushed the score to 56-35 by the end of the third, a deficit the Stallions cut but never quite recovered from.

Victory Baptist is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Trinity Prep, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Everything came up roses for Trinity Prep against Victory Baptist when the teams last played back in January of 2022, as the squad secured a 79-44 win. Does Trinity Prep have another victory up their sleeve, or will Victory Baptist turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
