Softball Recap: Boise Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Boise's offense. They fell just short of the Timberline Wolves by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Brave's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Boise's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Timberline, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Boise will welcome Eagle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Brave's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. As for Timberline, they are taking a road trip to take on Owyhee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Storm will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
