Softball Recap: Arcadia Has No Trouble Against Pandora-Gilboa

Arcadia had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Pandora-Gilboa on Wednesday. The Redskins were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Rockets. That looming 12-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Redskins yet this season.

Alanna Tucker was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Averie Smarr was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Addyson McCartney was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Arcadia kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pandora-Gilboa only managed three hits.

Arcadia is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.
