Football Recap: Carsonville-Port Sanilac Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The matchup between Carsonville-Port Sanilac and Akron-Fairgrove on Friday hardly resembled the 12-6 effort from their previous meeting. The Tigers were beaten by the Vikings 56-12. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the loss, Carsonville-Port Sanilac still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Rosser, who picked up 113 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 114 yards on only 14 carries. Rosser got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 72 yards. Gage Moran was another key player, throwing for 207 yards and one TD.

Carsonville-Port Sanilac's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Akron-Fairgrove, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carsonville-Port Sanilac will venture away from home to face off against North Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Akron-Fairgrove, they will challenge Au Gres-Sims at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
