Softball Recap: Evansville Central Takes a Loss

Evansville Central lost against Jasper back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bears lost 16-6 to the Wildcats. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maddie Glaser made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Callie Walls, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Evansville Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Jasper, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-1 record this season.

Evansville Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-1 win against Princeton on the 7th. As for Jasper, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-6 defeat against Evansville Mater Dei on the 6th.
