Softball Recap: Thurston Comes Up Short

Thurston lost against Eagle Point on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Colts fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 9-8. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kassy Anderson led a balanced group of hitters, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Raygan Litle, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Thurston's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Eagle Point, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Thurston beat the Eagles by a score of 17-7 later that day.
