Softball Recap: Nauset Regional Comes Up Short

If Nauset Regional was feeling good fresh off their 16-3 takedown of Dennis-Yarmouth Regional on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell 12-7 to the Monomoy Sharks on Thursday. The Warriors have struggled against the Sharks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Nauset Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Monomoy, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nauset Regional will head out to square off against Sandwich at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Monomoy, they will venture away from home to face off against Nantucket at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
