Baseball Game Preview: Reagan Rattlers vs. Brandeis Broncos

For the second straight game, Reagan will face off against Brandeis. The Rattlers will venture away from home to take on the Broncos at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The last four games Reagan has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Reagan's win against Brandeis wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rattlers had just enough and edged out the Broncos 5-4 on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Rattlers have won by just one run.

For Brandeis' part, Grayson Hallmark was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Hallmark is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Ty Jeter was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base.

Reagan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Brandeis, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-5-1.
