Madera had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Park Panthers, sneaking past 5-3.

Madera's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for West Park, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 15-5 record.

Coming up, Madera will head out on the road to take on Oakmont at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. As for West Park, they will square off against Crater at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Comets will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
