Basketball Recap: Neah-Kah-Nie Takes a Loss

Neah-Kah-Nie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warrenton Warriors. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 65-59.

Neah-Kah-Nie's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Warrenton, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Neah-Kah-Nie will face off against Riverdale at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Warrenton, they have already played their next contest, a 44-40 defeat against Corbett on the 8th.
