After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rootstown, Lake Center Christian was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 21-4 margin over the North Vikings. The result was nothing new for the Tiger, who have now won eight matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.
Lake Center Christian got a massive performance out of Jillian Miller, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Miller has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Slider, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Lake Center Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Lake Center Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Looking ahead, Lake Center Christian will square off against Central Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North, they will face off against Firestone at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
