Football Recap: Wabeno/Laona Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Wabeno/Laona's offense. They were outmatched by the Elcho/White Lake Wolverines and fell 60-0. Having soared to a lofty 74 points in the game before, the Rebels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wabeno/Laona fell to 2-1. As for Elcho/White Lake, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wabeno/Laona is set to take on their familiar foe Wausaukee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Elcho/White Lake will face off against rival Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
