Soccer Recap: Millard Takes a Loss

Millard managed to slip by Grand County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Millard Eagles came up short against the Grand County Red Devils on Thursday, falling 5-0. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Eagles it sure didn't stay that way.

Millard's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Grand County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Millard duke it out with Waterford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Millard's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Grand County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Parowan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grand County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.
