Volleyball Recap: Seminole Comes Up Short

Seminole lost against Oviedo back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Seminoles lost 3-0 to the Lions.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Seminole lost, don't look at Sophie Hertz. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs.

Seminole's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Oviedo, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seminole will take on Academy of Central Florida National at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oviedo, they will face off against Lake Brantley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
