Baseball Game Preview: Kingman Academy Tigers vs. River Valley Dust Devils

The Kingman Academy Tigers will take on the River Valley Dust Devils at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Kingman Academy will be strutting in after a victory while River Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

Kingman Academy was handed a seven-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Mohave 5-3. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kingman Academy's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Pax McFadyen, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Dustin Sealy also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, River Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Holtville on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Kingman Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for River Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
