Basketball Game Preview: Marcus Marauders vs. Flower Mound Jaguars

Marcus hasn't had much luck against Flower Mound recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Marcus Marauders will look to defend their home court against the Flower Mound Jaguars at 5:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Marcus took a blow against Guyer, falling 67-40. While losing is never fun, the Marauders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Wildcats are ranked third).

Meanwhile, Flower Mound entered their contest against Braswell on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Flower Mound fell 58-50 to Braswell.

This is the second loss in a row for Marcus and nudges their season record down to 14-14. As for Flower Mound, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 27-3.
