Baseball Recap: Norwich RVT Takes a Loss

Norwich RVT lost against Lyman Memorial back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 13-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Collin Schulze made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season. Another player making a difference was John Mastrokis, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Norwich RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Lyman Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Norwich RVT will head out to face off against Bacon Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Lyman Memorial, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Plainfield at 4:00 p.m. The Bulldogs are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
