Baseball Recap: Palisades Comes Up Short

Palisades lost against Salisbury Township back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates came up short against the Falcons, falling 10-4. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greg Borgeson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-5 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Palisades is 2-1 when Borgeson posts three or more hits, but 7-9 otherwise.

Palisades now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Salisbury Township, they moved to 11-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Palisades is set to square off against their familiar foe Saucon Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Salisbury Township will face off against rival Catasauqua at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
