It was a good run, but Triad unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Waterloo Bulldogs. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18.

Josie Stottler paced Triad's offense, picking up eight kills. Stottler got some help from Heidi Boehning and her 22 assists.

Ellie Zweigart was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 14 digs and one assist.

Triad's loss dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Waterloo, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That lines up perfectly with their 21-7 record this season.

Triad wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against East St. Louis on the 17th. As for Waterloo, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Wesclin on the 18th.
