Volleyball Recap: Durham School of the Arts Falls to Carrboro in First Game of Season

Durham School of the Arts unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Carrboro Jaguars on Wednesday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Carrboro's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Durham School of the Arts will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Orange on April 10th. As for Carrboro, they will welcome Seaforth at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The match will give Carrboro their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
