Recap: Fremont Silverwolves vs. Ridgeline Riverhawks
The Fremont Silverwolves entered their tilt with the Ridgeline Riverhawks with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Fremont snuck past Ridgeline with a 57-52 victory on Tuesday. For Fremont, this counts as revenge for the 67-55 defeat Ridgeline walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Leading Fremont to victory were Easton Duft and Hunter Hansen. Duft scored 15 points along with 9 assists and 7 rebounds, while Hansen scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hansen has scored at least 25% of Fremont's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryker Saunders, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals.
Several Riverhawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jagger Francom, who scored 20 points along with 6 rebounds. Diego Vazquez was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Fremont's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Ridgeline, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fremont will stay at home for another game and welcome Riverton at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Ridgeline will take on Twin Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
